Its Saturday, Nov. 20, and the the roofers have started. They expect to finish on Sunday. We chose a galvanized metal roof - officially referred to as "galvalume." Should last a lifetime and be incredibly energy efficient. The light color will reflect the sun's heat away from the house and keep it cool in the summer without the use of air conditioning.
